A new security product is available from Microsoft and is getting great reviews from security exports. By the way, it is FREE. This is not a watered down version trying to get you to pay for a premium version and there are no annual subscription fees.
The product is Microsoft Security Essentials and is available for download at the Microsoft Security Essentials page located at Microsoft.

SMARTCO has added a new functionality to its website, Personal Request.
The Personal Request link above will take you to a web form where you can submit a request for computers, printers, keyboards or other electronic equipment.
Due to recent changes in the computer recycling market, SMARTCO is now charging individuals a $10.00 drop off fee per CRT monitor at it's facility in the Millison Plaza Shopping Center, in Lexington Park, MD. We are still accepting Desktop, Laptop Computers and LCD monitors at no charge, but a $10.00 Drop Off Fee will be assessed for all CRT Monitors. SMARTCO will not accept Television Sets.
We now have a convenient and secure way for you to make donations to SMARTCO. We have added a donation button to our site.
